Our "Novelty" Berries
Red Princess and Michigan-Jumbo These are two of our larger arguta varieties which are available in "limited" bulk quantities only. They are a great for chefs, farmer's markets, Co-ops, and processing. Red Princess offers a blend of kiwi, guava, and papaya flavors.They start out a jade green color on the vine and then turn varying shades of burgundy, inside and out, as they ripen. This berrie also holds the value of its burgundy red color when it is processed for value-added products. Michigan-Jumbo are a very low acid fruit whose flavor is a pleasingly subtle blend of kiwi, strawberry, and banana. A melt in your mouth favorite.
